Jordyn Taylor

I used to be prone to dental cavities, due to many reasons, but in the past one of these reasons was a lack of knowledge of cariogenic (cavity causing) foods and eating habits. Then during my degree, I researched oral health nutrition under a professor at University of Saskatchewan. I started to implement the strategies I researched and noticed an improvement in my oral health. From there I had the idea to build a dietetic practice that partners with dental clinics and offers specialized oral health nutrition counselling.

I want to empower my clients with the information I wish I had before my first cavity. I know how stressful dental appointments can be and I want to reduce this stress and support your oral health through your diet! I utilize a non-judgemental, practical, all foods fit approach that considers you and your family’s individual needs.

I also see clients outside of the oral health nutrition realm. My interests outside of oral health include cooking skills and meal planning, chronic disease management (diabetes, heart disease, weight management, and fatty liver), PCOS, ADHD nutrition, post-secondary student nutrition, pre and post natal nutrition support, childhood feeding, and picky eating.
